Terms of Service

Section 1

Definitions and Interpretation

• App — The ProSquadz mobile application available on iOS and/or Android.
• Captain — The designated squad leader responsible for squad management, line-up submissions, and match coordination.
• Vice Captain — The secondary squad leader sharing certain responsibilities with the Captain.
• Coins — The in-app virtual currency used for tournament entries, player registrations, and other transactions.
• Competition / Tournament — Any organised esports event or league hosted on the platform.
• Match Chat — The in-app communication channel opened between opposing squads for fixture coordination.
• Platform — The App, the ProSquadz website, Discord server, and all related services.
• Squad — A registered team of players competing together on the platform.
• Premium — A paid subscription held by an individual player account, billed on a recurring basis through the Apple App Store or Google Play, which unlocks the features described in clause 6.3.
• Squad Pass — A pass purchased with Coins that applies to a Squad, waiving player registration fees for its duration as described in clause 6.9. A Squad Pass is not a Premium subscription. A player may hold Premium and their Squad may hold a Squad Pass at the same time.
• VAR System — The ProSquadz dispute resolution process whereby evidence is reviewed by the VAR team to adjudicate contested match results.

Section 2

Eligibility

2.1 Age Requirement

• You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account, enter tournaments, and receive prize payouts.
• Players aged 16–18 may use the platform only with verified parental or guardian consent, and are not eligible for cash prize payouts.

2.2 Regional Eligibility

• Competitions are available to players located in Europe and Africa.
• You must be a resident of an eligible country to participate.

2.3 Account Requirements

• You must have a valid EA FC 26 game and an active EA/Origin account with access to the Pro Clubs game mode.
• You must have access to a compatible gaming platform (PlayStation, Xbox, or PC).
• You must register a ProSquadz account with accurate and truthful information.
• You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

Section 3

Account Registration and Management

3.1 Registration

• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• You may only register one account per person. Multiple accounts are prohibited and will result in permanent suspension of all associated accounts.

3.2 Account Security

• You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify ProSquadz immediately if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.

3.3 Suspension and Termination

• ProSquadz reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms.
• Upon termination, your right to access the platform ceases immediately. Outstanding Coins or active tournament entries may be forfeited at ProSquadz's discretion.

Section 4

Tournament Participation

4.1 Entry and Fees

• Competitions may require an entry fee payable in Coins or other accepted payment methods.
• Refund requests for entry fees are accepted up to 10 days before a Competition starts. After that point entry fees are non-refundable, except where ProSquadz cancels the Competition.
• Registering a player for a Competition costs 2 Coins per player. This fee is paid by the Squad from its Squad Bank, not by the individual player.
• The player registration fee is waived where the player holds Premium, and for all players where the Squad holds a valid Squad Pass.
• Entry fees for a Competition are payable by the Squad and are separate from player registration fees.

4.2 Squad Requirements

• Squads must field only registered ProSquadz players in all matches.
• Empty positions must be filled by AI (CPU bots). No unregistered stand-ins are permitted.
• Using unregistered players constitutes a material breach and may result in disputes, points deductions, or disqualification.

4.3 Line-Up Submission

4.4 Match Results Submission

• Leadership teams must submit and validate match results, goals, assists, and supporting evidence within 45-minute windows per leg.
• If one team submits, the opposing team has 15 minutes to submit their results.
• After both submissions, each team has 30 minutes to validate stats.
• Failure to submit or validate triggers an Admin Review, which may result in point deductions or disqualification.

4.5 Player Authenticity

• All player characters must reflect realistic football standards.
• Maximum player height is 6 ft 7 in (201 cm). Players exceeding this limit are not permitted.

Section 5

Disputes and the VAR System

• All disputes must be supported by evidence. Preferred evidence includes video recordings or live streams; screenshots are accepted where video is not feasible.
• VAR team rulings are final and binding.
• Filing a dispute without evidence will result in a strike being issued, with increased risk of further penalties for repeated offences.
• Filing a false or fraudulent dispute may result in points deductions, suspensions, or disqualification.

Section 6

Payments, Coins, Premium, and Prizes

6.1 Coin Economy

• Coins are a limited licence to use features of the platform. They are not property, not legal tender, and not a stored-value or electronic money instrument.
• Coins are purchased as an in-app purchase through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Refunds for Coin purchases are handled under their respective policies.
• Once spent, Coins are non-refundable. Coins cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred between accounts, or withdrawn, except where they form part of a prize payout under clause 6.2.
• Coins do not expire while your account is in good standing.

6.2 Prize Payouts

• Prize winnings are processed within 2 working days after a competition ends.
• Player payouts are made within 2 working days to registered bank accounts.
• Community-voted and additional rewards may take up to 5 working days.
• You are responsible for ensuring your bank account details on your profile are accurate. ProSquadz is not responsible for failed payments caused by incorrect details.
• All prize winnings may be subject to applicable taxes. You are solely responsible for reporting and paying taxes due in your jurisdiction.

6.3 Premium Subscription

Premium is a paid subscription attached to an individual player account. The free Basic tier remains available. Premium unlocks the following:

• The price and billing period of Premium are those shown in the app at the point of purchase. Prices vary by country and currency and are set by the applicable app store.
• Premium is personal to your account. It cannot be transferred, shared, sold, or applied to another account, and it does not pass to a new Captain if captaincy of a Squad changes.
• We may add features to Premium at any time. Where we remove a material feature, clause 6.7 applies.

6.4 Billing and Auto-Renewal

• Premium is billed in advance for each billing period and renews automatically until you cancel.
• Premium is sold as an in-app purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple or Google account on confirmation of purchase, and each renewal is taken by them within 24 hours before the current period ends.
• Your subscription is also subject to the Apple App Store or Google Play terms. Where those terms give you a right that these Terms do not, that right stands.

6.5 Cancellation

• Cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends, or the next period will be charged.
• You keep Premium features until the end of the period you have already paid for, after which your account reverts to Basic.
• Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.

6.6 Refunds and Your Statutory Rights

• Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are refunded under their policies, and refund requests must be made to them directly.
• If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you normally have 14 days to cancel a distance contract for digital services. By purchasing Premium and using it immediately, you request that we begin supplying it at once and acknowledge that you lose this 14-day right once it has been supplied in full. Where you cancel within 14 days having only partly used the service, you may be entitled to a proportionate refund.
• Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights, including your right to a remedy where a service is not supplied with reasonable care and skill.
• Subject to the above, subscription fees are non-refundable and we do not refund unused portions of a billing period.

6.7 Price and Feature Changes

• We may change the price of Premium or the features it includes. We will give at least 30 days notice by email and in the app before a price increase takes effect.
• An increase applies from your next billing period. Where Apple or Google require your explicit consent to a price change, your subscription will not renew without it.
• If you do not accept an increase, you may cancel under clause 6.5 before it takes effect.

6.8 When Premium Ends

• Your account reverts to Basic and Premium-only features become unavailable.
• Squads and entries already registered remain valid for competitions already entered. You will not be removed from a live competition because a subscription lapsed.
• If you hold 2 Squads, you will be asked to choose which Squad to delete in order to return to the Basic limit of 1. Until you choose, Squad management actions may be restricted.
• Verified player attributes are hidden from your profile and are restored if you resubscribe.
• Coins in your Squad Bank are unaffected, except where your account is terminated for breach under Section 13.
• Prize winnings already earned remain payable under clause 6.2.

6.9 Squad Pass

• A Squad Pass is purchased with Coins and applies to a Squad. Premium is a subscription held by an individual player. They are separate products and may be held at the same time.
• A Squad Pass waives player registration fees for the Squad it is applied to, for one month from activation.
• A Squad Pass does not renew automatically. It expires at the end of its month and must be purchased again if required.
• Squad Passes have no cash value and are non-refundable once activated, except where required by law.
• Holding a Squad Pass does not give an account Premium features.

6.10 Failed Payments

• If a renewal payment fails, Premium features may be suspended immediately.
• Apple and Google may retry the charge under their own policies.
• We are not liable for consequences of a lapse caused by a failed payment, including missed registration deadlines or forfeited fixtures.

6.11 Accounts Held by 16-18 Year Olds

• Where a player aged 16 to 18 uses the platform with verified parental or guardian consent, that consent must extend to purchases. The consent holder is responsible for Coin purchases and Premium subscriptions made on the account and may cancel at any time under clause 6.5.
• Players aged 16 to 18 remain ineligible for cash prize payouts, including while holding Premium. Premium does not confer prize payout eligibility.

6.12 Fees Payable in Coins

• Fees payable in Coins, including entry fees, the 2 Coin player registration fee, contract termination fees and late line-up fees, are set out in the app.
• Contract termination fees are 100% of player value for Basic accounts and 50% of player value for Premium accounts.
• We may change these fees on 14 days notice in the app and on Discord. Changes do not affect a competition already entered.

Section 7

Intellectual Property

• All content, branding, logos, trademarks, and materials on the platform are the exclusive property of ProSquadz Ltd or its licensors.
• You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute any ProSquadz content without prior written consent.
• By uploading content to the platform, you grant ProSquadz a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use that content for the purposes of operating and promoting the platform.
• EA FC 26, EA Sports, Pro Clubs, PlayStation, and Xbox are trademarks of their respective owners. ProSquadz is not affiliated with or endorsed by Electronic Arts, Sony, or Microsoft.

Section 8

Community Conduct

Prohibited Conduct

• Harassment, bullying, hate speech, discrimination, or any form of abuse toward other users.
• Cheating, exploiting bugs or glitches, using hacks, mods, or unauthorised third-party software.
• Manipulating match results, match-fixing, or colluding with opposing teams.
• Impersonating another player, administrator, or ProSquadz staff member.
• Attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, or hack any part of the platform.

Section 9

Captain and Vice Captain Responsibilities

• Ensure the squad name on the ProSquadz App matches the in-game team name on EA FC. Mismatches may lead to penalties.
• Link Discord accounts to the ProSquadz platform as required for match coordination and official communications.
• Submit line-ups, match results, and stats within required timeframes.
• Ensure all squad members comply with these Terms, the Tournament Rulebook, and community conduct standards.
• Accept accountability for the squad's actions and compliance across all competitions.

Section 10

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

• The platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. ProSquadz does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.
• ProSquadz is not liable for outages or issues caused by third-party services (EA FC servers, PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Discord, payment processors).
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, ProSquadz shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
• Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
• Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Section 11

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ProSquadz Ltd, its directors, officers, employees, and affiliates from and against all claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:

• Your use of or access to the platform.
• Your breach of these Terms or any applicable law or regulation.
• Your violation of any third-party rights.
• Any content you upload or transmit through the platform.
• Your participation in any competition, including disputes with other users.

Section 12

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

• These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
• Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
• If you are a consumer resident in the EU or UK, nothing in this clause affects your statutory rights to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
• For in-game disputes, the VAR System is the primary resolution mechanism (see Section 5).
• For disputes relating to payments or account issues, please contact our support team first to resolve the matter informally.

Section 13

Termination

• You may stop using the platform and request account deletion at any time.
• ProSquadz may terminate or suspend your access at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.
• Upon termination: your licence to use the platform is immediately revoked; any outstanding Coin balance may be forfeited; any active competition entries may be void.
• Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) shall survive.

Section 14

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via in-app notification, email to your registered address, and announcement on our Discord server. Your continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
